Striking an Odd Note
When captured, the good guy of the episode wrote down these 9 notes. Ah, classic Scooby-Doo plot. No WAY that’s suspicious at all! I mean, it must be a message, you couldn’t even play it-
…oooooor, maybe the pianist can play those 9 notes as a full-fledged 30-second song, for both hands. Magic.

Welcome To Scooby-Doo
First, the animators show us this big ol’ Egyptian mural wall, roughly a foot thick and 10 feet across.
Then, we see the gang posing like Egyptian figures.
Ok, sure, pretty normal day in ol’ Scooby-Doo Land.
Next frame, in the closeup, a cat magically appears in the window, because the animators couldn’t be bothered to draw it before in the wide shot.
Then, the cat jumps on the wall, and makes this face…
…and falls, shrinking the wall to a couple feet across, and only a few inches thick.
…and then, the cat does… whatever this is.

Maybe Scooby can be a new superhero! Scooby-Doo, the 3-Eared Superdog.
Scooby-Doo guest stars: making absolutely no more sense than the regular gang.
Fred is derpy, Velma is way more curvy than usual, and Daphne is just a floating torso.
Pretty normal day in the world of Scooby-Doo.
Sadly, Scooby-Doo, the Barrel-Butted Spiderdog™ was canceled after the pilot episode.
Sometimes, I’ll be going back through an old episode I’ve already done, pause to check something, and land on a magical frame like this that I didn’t see before.
